Awards

Over the course of his career, Dr. Bernhard’s work has earned him several distinctions – several of which are unprecedented. For instance, he is the only professor to hold a chair at both of Nevada’s major research universities (UNLV and UNR), and he is the only professor in the history of UNLV to win the university’s top teaching and research awards (he has also won his college’s top teaching and research award).
